BEGIN AGAIN - GUATEMALA YOGA RETREAT

BEGIN AGAIN - A Flow with Zoë Retreat

Lake Atitlán, Guatemala : March 13–20, 2027 · 7 Days / 7 Nights

Take a deep breath, Let’s begin.

There is something powerful about giving yourself permission to begin again, not because what came before was wrong or bad, but because life is always asking us to grow, expand, shift, release, and create space for what comes next. What better place to step beyond the rhythms of everyday life, slow down, reconnect with yourself, and meet the unknown than on the shores of Lake Atitlán?

Surrounded by water, volcanoes, ancient land, and the sacred energy of the lake, we’ll spend seven days practicing yoga, moving, breathing, exploring, hiking, reflecting, laughing, resting, learning, and connecting.

Beginning again doesn’t mean erasing where you’ve been.

It means choosing where you go from here.

You are never too late. You are never too early. You are right on time.

Right here. Right now. Exactly where your feet are. ;)

Perhaps beginning again looks like waking before sunrise to hike a mountain. Perhaps it is standing on a paddleboard, surrounded by volcanoes and centuries of history, as the lake settles into stillness beneath you. It might also mean experiencing movement in your body in a new way, laughing with someone who was a stranger only a few days before, or allowing yourself to rest without first having to earn it.

And perhaps your beginning starts long before you ever arrive in Guatemala.

Perhaps it begins the moment you decide to say YES.

Yes to yourself.

Yes to adventure.

Yes to rest.

Yes to new people, new places, and new perspectives.

Yes to possibilities you cannot yet see, but feel.

Yes to whatever is waiting on the other side of winter.

Take a deep breath, let’s begin again. Together.

WE ARRIVE IN WINTER. WE LEAVE IN SPRING.

Our final day at the Lake falls on the Spring Equinox, March 20, 2027. We’ll arrive in the final days of winter and, seven days later, leave as spring begins. How beautiful is that?

There is something SO profound about allowing the natural world to mirror our own capacity for internal change. The Equinox marks a moment of balance: darkness and light held in equal measure, one season ending as another begins.

Perhaps that is the quiet wisdom of the seasons: every ending carries within it the possibility of beginning again.

THE EXPERIENCE

This is not a retreat where every minute of every day is scheduled.

Our week is intentionally designed to balance movement with stillness, adventure with restoration, structure with freedom, and community with time to go inwards for yourself.

Expect daily movement with Zoë  (Ft. guest teacher Jen Kuriakose) wellness programming, weaving together Vinyasa yoga, Yoga Sculpt, Yin Yoga,  meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, restorative practices, guided journaling, yoga philosophy, Dharma discussions, workshops, and intentional conversations.

Some mornings will begin quietly with yoga and meditation as the sun rises over Lake Atitlán. Another will begin long before sunrise as we head into the mountains.

Some afternoons will be spent exploring villages, learning about local culture, swimming, or being out on the lake. Others might mean booking a massage, reading by the pool, taking a nap, journaling, grabbing a kayak, or having absolutely nowhere you need to be.

Everything is an invitation, an offering, not a requirement.

You can challenge yourself. You can slow down. You can try something completely new. You can (and should) rest. You can go inwards, or live out LOUD.

This week is yours.

YOUR HOME FOR THE WEEK

For seven nights, we’ll call Villa Sumaya home; an intimate luxury wellness sanctuary tucked into the shores of Lake Atitlán in Santa Cruz La Laguna. Accessible by boat and surrounded by water, lush mountains, gardens, and volcanoes, Villa Sumaya gives us the rare opportunity to TRULY step outside the pace of everyday life.

Our days will center around beautiful practice spaces ( both indoor and outdoor with panoramic stunning views) , nourishing meals, nature, community, and the rhythms of the lake.

Accommodations range from charming shared rooms to private rooms and premium suites, many with beautiful lake views and private outdoor spaces.

Our retreat is intentionally intimate, allowing us to create a deeply connected, personal experience while still leaving plenty of space for you to make the week your own. Space is limited, and once our available rooms are filled, registration will close!!

COMING SOLO?

Amazing - Please do! You absolutely do not need a friend, partner, or travel companion to join. (although thats totally cool too!)

Retreats can be one of the most beautiful ways to travel solo: you get the independence and transformation of doing something entirely for yourself while immediately arriving into community!!!

“I attended Zoe’s yoga retreat in the Azores. It was my first yoga retreat, so I was a little apprehensive about going alone, but it ended up exceeding every expectation. Zoe created such a warm, welcoming environment and naturally brought together an incredible group of people. I left with new friends and a deeper appreciation for yoga, and I truly can’t wait to join another retreat with her.”-Amanda

Shared accommodations are available, and roommate matching will be offered for solo travelers who choose a shared room. :) ( I have a very good track record of Roomate matching !!!)

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Please read this section carefully before reserving your space. An international retreat requires accommodations, rooms, transportation, guides, activities, and other experiences to be reserved and paid for well before we arrive ( 6+ months!) . Because many of these costs cannot be recovered if a guest cancels, the following cancellation policy applies to all bookings.

Your Deposit :Your $500 deposit is non-refundable.Your deposit officially reserves your place and accommodation on the retreat and will be applied toward your total retreat price.

Cancellation Before December 2, 2026 :If you cancel before December 2, 2026, you will receive a refund of 50% of eligible payments made beyond your non-refundable $500 deposit. The initial $500 deposit will not be refunded.

Cancellation AfterDecember 2, 2026, all retreat payments are non-refundable.

Final Payment - All retreat balances must be paid in full by January 6, 2027, around 60 days before departure.

This is an important commitment period for the retreat, as final accommodations, occupancy, vendors, and other significant retreat expenses are being finalized.

If You Can No Longer Attend - Your $500 deposit is non-refundable.

If you are no longer able to attend, you are welcome to find someone to take your place. Any replacement guest and accommodation transfer must be approved by Flow with Zoë.

Genuine Emergencies : We understand that unexpected circumstances happen. In the case of a genuine emergency, Flow with Zoë may, at its discretion, offer a portion of your payments as a credit toward a future Flow with Zoë retreat rather than a cash refund. Future retreat credits are not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account any expenses that have already been paid or committed for your stay. Credits are also subject to availability and the pricing of the future retreat. If the future retreat is priced higher, you will be responsible for the difference.

Travel Insurance & Extraordinary Circumstances

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for every participant.

We encourage you to purchase comprehensive coverage appropriate for your individual needs, including trip cancellation or interruption, illness, medical emergencies, severe weather, flight cancellations or delays, lost luggage, and other unexpected travel circumstances.

If you choose to attend without travel insurance, you acknowledge that you remain responsible for any non-refundable retreat payments and personal travel expenses if you are unable to attend.

In the unlikely event that a major circumstance beyond our control, such as government-imposed travel restrictions, widespread airport or border closures, a pandemic, severe natural disaster, or another extraordinary event, makes it impossible or unsafe for the group to travel to Guatemala, Flow with Zoë will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the retreat to a later date. Payments will be applied toward the rescheduled retreat, subject to any non-recoverable costs already committed.

Flow with Zoë cannot guarantee refunds or credits for circumstances outside the cancellation terms outlined above and strongly encourages each guest to protect their investment through travel insurance.

By submitting your deposit, you acknowledge and agree to the retreat payment and cancellation policies.

Questions about the cancellation policy or an unexpected circumstance? Please email flowithzoe@gmail.combefore booking.

MEET YOUR HOST & GUEST TEACHER

Zoë Shaw · Founder, Flow with Zoë 900+HR Yoga Teacher  : ZOE SHAW WELLNESS CO. LLC

Zoë is a 900HR+ certified yoga teacher who has been teaching for over 8 years in NYC and around the world! Her favorite thing in the world is hosting yoga international yoga retreats, combining her love for travel, yoga, adventure, community, and doing the DEEP work!!!

This retreat is so much more than a week of yoga.

Zoë created Flow with Zoë retreats around the belief that wellness doesn’t have to mean escaping real life or trying to become some perfectly peaceful version of yourself. It can mean moving your body and then laughing until your stomach hurts at dinner. It can mean waking up before sunrise to climb a mountain and spending the afternoon horizontal by the pool. It can mean asking yourself bigger questions, trying something that scares you a little, eating beautiful food, exploring somewhere completely new, meeting people you never would have crossed paths with otherwise, and remembering how good it feels to be fully present in your own life. Throughout the week, Zoë will lead the retreat’s primary wellness programming, weaving together yoga, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, philosophy, journaling, adventure, reflection, and community.

Zoë will be joined by Guest Teacher Jen Kuriakose, who will support the retreat with additional movement practices, Dharma discussions, guided journaling, and supportive hands-on assists throughout select practices.

Jen Kuriakose is the founder of Jenesis Yoga and an E-RYT 750+ certified yoga and meditation teacher instructor in New York City. Before yoga, she spent years in finance as a CPA and has trained extensively in India, the motherland of yoga, and it's that same experience of leaving one path to build anew that she brings to Begin Again. As a guest teacher, Jen brings her expertise on yin yoga, and meditation to guide the slower reflective practices, holding space for Lake Atitlán's sanctuary of rest and beginning again

WHO IS BEGIN AGAIN FOR?

This retreat is for you if you want to move your body, explore somewhere extraordinary, meet new people, deepen your practice, learn, laugh, rest, challenge yourself, and give yourself a week outside of your normal routine.

You do not need to be an advanced yoga practitioner.

You don’t need to be the fastest or strongest hiker.

You don’t need to meditate every morning.

You don’t need to know anyone else coming.

And you certainly don’t need to arrive as some perfectly healed, peaceful version of yourself.

Maybe you’re at the beginning of something.

Maybe you’re at the end of something.

Maybe absolutely nothing dramatic is happening and you simply feel ready for something new.

There is no perfect moment.

You are never too late. You are never too early. You are right on time.

Right here. Right now. Exactly where your feet are.

Questions about accommodations, roommate matching, couple pricing, payment plans, travel, or whether Begin Again is right for you?

See you on the lake. 🤍XXX
